Who we are

Graded Appliance Hub is an independent publisher, not a retailer. We don't hold stock, we don't process payments, and we don't fulfil deliveries. When you find a deal you like, you buy it directly from the store listed on our site.

A new fridge freezer typically costs £600–£1,800. The same model with a small dent on the side panel — sold as B-grade — is often 30–50% cheaper, with the same warranty and the same components inside. That market is real, but it's fragmented across hundreds of small regional retailers most people have never heard of. We exist to make it findable.

How we make money

1. 1. Featured listings

   Retailers can pay to appear higher in their local search results. These are clearly labelled "Featured" or "Sponsored." Our editorial scoring (verification, reviews, response time) is never affected by payment.

2. 2. Affiliate commissions

   When you click through to certain partner retailers and buy, we may receive a small commission. This never costs you more, and it never affects which stores we recommend. Affiliate links are marked with the rel="sponsored" attribute and disclosed at the top of each page where they appear.

3. 3. Repair lead referrals

   We pass repair enquiries to registered Gas Safe / qualified engineers in your area. We charge the engineer a flat per-lead fee, never the customer.

How we verify retailers

Every business listed on Graded Appliance Hub has been checked against:

• Companies HouseActive registration, no insolvency markers, registered address matches the trading address.
• Gas Safe RegisterFor repair providers handling gas appliances — current registration, scope covers the work being offered.
• Trustpilot / Google ReviewsMinimum 3.5/5 average across at least 20 reviews, or six months of trading with no unresolved complaints.

We re-check every listing at least annually. If you spot a business that no longer meets our standards, email trust@gradedappliancehub.com and we'll investigate within 5 working days. Our full editorial standards are published openly.
